Residential Sprinklers Maintenance

We'll maintain your system, year on year

Residential Sprinkler Maintenance

Fire sprinkler systems need to be serviced annually to ensure that they continue to operate correctly and is a requirement of the BS9251:2014. When a sprinkler system has been commissioned, a sprinkler handover pack is sent through to the client which enables them to arrange for any competent fire sprinkler company to carry out the annual service. Aquatech offer service contracts with every installation which include a fixed term price and if accepted will be added onto our database so that a reminder is sent each year. If you have a sprinkler system that has been installed by another company that you would like serviced by us, you will need to provide us with the installers handover information so that we can identify the type of sprinkler system that was installed and materials that have been used.
A typical service consists of:
  • Ensuring all cover plates are fitted correctly with no decorative material on them
  • Making sure the system is holding pressure and that there are no leaks
  • Sprinkler heads provide full coverage (including any changes in building or furniture that may now cause blind spots)
  • Testing of flow switch to check alarm interface
  • Inspection on pump and tank if applicable
  • Flow test to ensure relevant flow/pressure is achieved
